∆ "Instant Approval",“Shopping instantly” or “Shop instantly” refers to the ability to use your new Walmart Rewards Mastercard for purchases on Walmart.ca immediately after your online application approval, via a temporary shopping pass without having to wait for your new Walmart Rewards Mastercard to arrive in the mail. Your temporary shopping pass will automatically appear as a payment option when you checkout and will be valid until 11:59pm Eastern Standard Time (EST) on the date of your approval, and will be limited to an amount as determined by Duo Bank of Canada. Your Walmart Rewards Mastercard application may still be approved without the issuance of a temporary shopping pass. Any purchase(s) made on Walmart.ca using the temporary shopping pass will appear on your first Walmart Rewards Mastercard statement and will require repayment in accordance with the terms of the Walmart Rewards Mastercard Cardholder Agreement.
A fraud method in which the fraudster sends out a legitimate-looking email in an attempt to gather personal and financial information from recipients. The scammer sends an email to an unsuspecting customer that may look just like a legitimate Walmart email (including use of the Walmart logo.) If the customer falls for the bait (thus the “fishing” reference), the thief could get credit card numbers, PINs, account passwords, expiration dates, credit card/bank account numbers and even Social Security numbers. Shopkick is a neat app just by the ways you can earn money. In addition to earning money for buying certain items and scanning your receipt, you can also earn just by entering certain stores and (or) just by finding and scanning items. This seems to be a one of a kind app, and had to make the list just because you can earn free gift cards to Walmart for literally just entering a store or just for scanning items.

Drop is unique because you don’t need to scan any receipts or clip any coupons. All you do is sign up, select 5 stores you want to earn cash back from, and then connect your debit and credit cards that you usually use. After that, you’ll earn points every single time you shop at one of those 5 selected stores (which can’t be changed by the way so choose wisely!), along with other offers that may be available on the app.

First, scammers set up look-alike websites and social media pages that mimic those of legitimate companies in order to promote scams advertising free gift cards or coupons. Users who respond to those fake offers are required to share a website link or social media post in order to spread the scam more widely and lure in additional victims. Then those users are presented with a “survey” that extracts personal information such as email addresses, telephone numbers, dates of birth, and even sometimes credit card numbers. Finally, those who wish to claim their “free” gift cards or coupons eventually learn they must first sign up to purchase a number of costly goods, services, or subscriptions (negating the “free” aspect of the offer).
In this scam, the scammer will call a victim and indicate that a loved one is in some sort of trouble (i.e. kidnapped, arrested, etc.). Sometimes, the scammer pretends to be a lawyer or the loved one themselves and asks directly for money. The scammer then instructs the victim to purchase gift cards and give the gift card numbers to the scammer over the phone.

The problem is that the check is fake; so when it bounces (is returned to your account by your bank as “insufficient funds” or a “drawn on a closed account”) —which occurs after the money is wired—the consumer is accountable (in some cases, criminally) to the bank for the entire amount of the fake check, plus additional penalty fees. Also, in some instances, consumers are asked for personal bank account information. The company will then "deposit" money into their account for payment and funds with which to perform their Secret Shopper tasks. These consumers often then become victims of identity theft or have their accounts drained by the fraudster.
The MoneyCard does have an initial subscription fee of $1 if it is picked up in-store. That fee is waived if it’s ordered online. There is also a $5 monthly charge, which can be waived if $1,000 or more is loaded on the card each month. If you are considering signing up for a Wal-Mart MoneyCard, keep in mind that there are additional fees associated with using it. Be sure to read the terms and conditions carefully to make sure it’s right for you.

Never provide personal information in response to an unsolicited request, whether it is over the phone or internet. A trusted company will never ask a customer for highly sensitive information during a call they initiated. A financial institution may ask for the account holder’s partial Social Security Number for verification, but they will never ask for the entire Social Security Number, account number or PIN.

Survey’s might have a bad rap, but after testing endless amounts of survey websites that pay, this is by far one of the best. It’s great because it’ll tell you how long it should take to complete a survey and how much you’ll be rewarded for completing it. This lets you choose only the highest paying surveys for your time while avoiding ones that aren’t as high paying.
